I remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my cubicle at work and this thought came into my mind, "The same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead lives in you". That's what I call my Romans 8:16 moment. The NIV translation of the Bible says it this way, "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children." It was the moment I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I belonged to God. If you've never had it, seek it. Pray that you'll have ears to hear. Ask God to give it to you and don't stop asking until you get it. God will answer and change your life.
